You should get an OTA message reply that tells you how much credit you still have for either of the plans. You may also receive other updates or promos relating to MTN.

For Post paid users on MTN Nigeria network, just dial the ussd code *558# and you'd get your prepaid airtime balance from MTN. The reply normally comes almost immediately after dialing the code so you can do it anytime as long as you are connected to the network.
