In modern day Nigeria, going to school to get educated is one thing many parents want for their children and if a child fails to learn at school, it's most likely that he/she would be unsuccessful in life.

Anytime I recall how much I've achieved an my ability to learn new things, I still give thanks to God for my primary school because that was where I had a good educational foundation. If I didn't learn anything during primary school, it may have set me up for failure later in life. It was in primary school I learn important subjects like Mathematics and English and that helped me get through secondary school as well as my higher institution. It was in primary school I learn how to calculate and how to predict numbers based on numbers I already had. If now for primary school, I may not have been able to learn things like Calculus and Engineering maths.

In Nigeria, the government tries to do all they can to ensure that every child gets a primary school education at least because without it, they may not be able to achieve much in life. Primary school has helped a lot of modern day Nigerians escape poverty and become rich people. Without a sound education in primary school, it can be almost impossible for a person to survive in modern day Nigeria.

There are different grades of primary schools in Nigeria and we have the good ones as well as the bad ones. The good primary schools tend to have well trained teachers and a good teaching environment. The teachers are properly skilled in teaching students such that they learn easily and they are committed to teaching their students to achieve academic success. If a Nigerian parent can afford it, they should take their kids to a school where they are sure they would get good quality education because they come with a lot of benefits.

Benefits associated with going to a good primary school:

1. It builds a strong academic foundation for the child.
2. It brightens the future success of the child.
3. It reduces crime in the society because well educated kids are less likely to embrace crime.
4. It improves the economy of the country because it increases the number of properly educated kids who eventually help in growing the economy.
5. It improves the lives of the family who helped in educating the child

When children are sent to good primary schools, it's always a good thing and it's something everyone should strive to support.
